Overview: (The Project has expired)
Funding period of the SenTrain project has ended.
The funding period for the SenTrain project ended on 31.12.2007
The SenTrain ICT project developed and tested a European training concept, as well as training materials for seniors who already are or want to become ICT trainers. These trainers learnt how to successfully train other seniors to use new technologies. The training concept and materials are for seniors, who already have the necessary technical and/or content-related skills, but do not yet have the necessary teaching skills. The results of the project are also of interest to senior organisations wishing to provide ICT training and to recruit trainers.
The SenTrain training concept, pedagogical and technical approach, along with a summary of the training materials are explained in the Implementation guidelines freely available here.
